The Suttas are the discourses of the Lord Buddha and leading disciples that contain the original Dhamma perspectives of the Awakened One. They cover a wide range of spiritual issues and are always practical in their intent. They were recorded in the Pali language, passed down through Theravada Buddhism, and are now available in good English translations. (Abbreviations used in references)
Liberation Park's on-going Sutta Study Group is one of the ways we support the practice of our friends. We meet most Friday evenings to discuss a variety of practice issues through the teachings of the Pali Suttas. We begin with a meditation (30 mins) and end with tea.
